Akiko distributing care packages to the homeless on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024

Today is Thanksgiving Day, and also a celebration of Akiko’s birthday. However, when Akiko learned that northern California is bracing for record freezing temperatures, she decided to spend most of Thanksgiving Day itself assembling and distributing care packages with warm clothing and blankets for the homeless, returning only after dark for an informal family dinner.
